Having emigrated from Iran in 1971 to study engineering at the prestigious University of Texas, he graduated with a master’s degree in urban design and city planning. Putting his educational background to practical use, he started building custom designed homes and townhomes in the Texas’s Austin area. Seeking greater opportunity for his company, in 1985 Ghasem and his family chose to move to Canada to pursue his passion of building custom homes noted for their exceptional architecture, outstanding features, unparalleled value and complete customer satisfaction.

Upon his arrival in Toronto, Ghasem Ghods quickly determined that there was a demand for his high quality custom built homes. Over the next decade he designed and built 132 custom homes, each a benchmark of excellence, and each completely finished to the satisfaction of his demanding clientele. Known in the industry for his high caliber of standards, Ghasem Ghods' business philosophy is simple: “If I wouldn’t buy it myself, I can’t sell it.”
